TV/DVD/VCR/PVR/Freeview Installation
I can install individual items and offer a complete package installation service which covers basic set up and connection. Much of my work for the over 60s centres on freeview set up - with charges at £25. However this does not include Satellite, Wall mounting or Aerial installations. I recommend only 1 quality fitter for this service.
PC Installation/Maintenance/Tuition
I set up domestic PCs, and offer a comprehensive PC maintenance service (internet issues, viruses, spyware removal, wireless set ups and hardware upgrades). Prevention is always better than cure, so I always seek to ensure that systems are secured. In this respect I recommend 2 magazines, both of which have a wealth of resources and information. PC Answers and Web User. Together they offer practical advice and excellent resources for Beginners through to Advanced Users.
I am a qualified PC Technician, with experience in installing both replacement parts and upgrades. All such work is carried out off site to reduce costs, with the exception of RAM upgrades which are done on-site.
I offer a full data recovery/transfer service. In addition I also perform Annual "MOT's" on PCs as part of a service package (price on request)

Important Security Information
I always call by 'phone before arrival. I also have "Enhanced" (See Below) level CRB check certificates. (I can supply copies if required). I provide receipts for any goods taken for repair. Any purchases made on behalf of clients are made in cash and full receipts provided - so as not to limit statutory rights.
